Hardware Asset TrackerOverview
Hardware Asset Tracker is a software program designed to help inventory your hardware components and assets. There are several different fields available for each item including Serial Number, Location, Warranty, User, Supplier, Contact, Installation, Value, and more. There are also larger text fields where you can keep more detailed descriptions or instructions for the hardware equipment or even a list of peripherals that were shipped with the item. As you browse through the inventory list, the data fields for each asset are displayed on the screen along with a picture of the item. This makes it easy to edit and add data. The software is also customizable to your inventory or cataloging scheme. You can change the names of any of the fields to fit your equipment. For example you could change Serial Number to Asset Number. This would then be changed throughout the program including the main screen and any reports you print later. Additional features of Hardware Asset Tracker include a search function to help find items in large databases; standard and customized printable reports; copy hardware; Undo; and integrated help.
